The elusive artist Kanye West has finally been tracked down by his former attorneys and dropped as a client, amidst a slew of legal issues. After months of running away, Kanye West was finally served with the legally required notice to cut ties with him. But how did his former attorneys find him? Read on to find out!

Kanye West has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. Last fall, many companies and business partners severed ties with West amid his racist and antisemitic behavior. His former lawyers at Greenberg Traurig LLP had to serve him with legally required notice before dropping him as a client, but Kanye led them on a wild goose chase for months, changing his phone number and evading their attempts to serve him.

The attorneys even considered taking the extraordinary measure of buying an advertisement in local Los Angeles newspapers to get his attention. But on January 27th, attorneys were able to locate and serve Ye notice through an unnamed attorney. His former lawyers wrote in court filings that the address at which Ye was served was not one that is publicly affiliated with him or his businesses, but one that he frequents.

Kanye West continues to face numerous other lawsuits and owes millions to former business associates and music labels. Among them is an ex-business manager who is suing the Yeezy designer for $4.5 million, claiming he wasn’t paid for 18 months of work as a financial advisor. Kanye’s legal woes include copyright infringement allegations stemming from music sampling for his 2022 album, “Donda 2”, as well as contract disputes.

Most of Kanye’s business associates, including his closest friends, left him throughout last year as he continued to make hate-filled statements about Jewish people, denied the Holocaust and praised Hitler. He was banned from Twitter in December for violating its rules on inciting violence.

Last month, Ye reportedly had a wedding ceremony with Australian architect Bianca Censori, who works for Yeezy. Two months earlier, Ye and Kim Kardashian finalized their divorce. The couple continue to co-parent their four young children, an experience that the beauty mogul and reality TV personality recently admitted has been “really f— hard”.

So, how did Kanye West’s former attorneys finally find him to serve him the legally required notice? Tune in to find out!
