At the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, the music industry honored the lives of those lost in the past year with an emotional in memoriam segment. Among the many faces and names featured in the tribute was the late Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.
Presley passed away on January 12th, 2021 at the age of 54 due to cardiac arrest. Just days before her death, she walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes to support her son, Austin Butler, who won an acting award for playing her father in a biopic. She was laid to rest at a ceremony in Graceland in late January.

Throughout her career, Presley released three studio albums, two of which made it to the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 in the 2000s.

Hosted by comedian and former “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah, the 2023 Grammys were broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This year’s nominees are led by Beyoncé with nine nominations, with stars like Harry Styles, Adele, Bad Bunny and more also up for awards. Performers include Styles, Lizzo, Bad Bunny and more.
