It’s a story no parent ever wants to hear; a babysitter charged with child-related sex crimes. Thomas Kincheloe, a 44-year-old man from Lebanon, Missouri, is facing charges of statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy with a person younger than 12 years old, second-degree child molestation, and third-degree child molestation in three separate cases.

In February 2021, a man left his two daughters, an 11-year-old and a 9-year-old, at the home of Kincheloe for babysitting. The girls reported to their father that Kincheloe had groped one of them inappropriately between her legs. The 11-year-old girl also reported that Kincheloe touched her private area with his private area.

In another case, a 10-year-old girl reported that Kincheloe touched her private area with his private area. When interviewed by detectives, Kincheloe admitted to touching his private area to the girl’s private area, but denied going inside her.

The third case involves an 11-year-old girl who reported that Kincheloe would rub her private areas under her clothes. The girl also reported that other children were present during the incident, but they did not say anything.

The father of one of the victims in the original charges against Kincheloe spoke out in December 2022 and shared that Kincheloe had touched his daughter.

These new charges against Kincheloe are an alarming reminder of the importance of being vigilant when selecting a babysitter for your children. It is essential to do your research and ask questions to ensure the safety of your children.
