We’ve all heard of child prodigies, but nine-year-old David Balogun is a special case. David recently graduated from the Reach Cyber Charter School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and is already looking at college options. He’s a remarkable young man who has already achieved more than most adults ever will.

David, who is from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, was able to take classes remotely from his home. He loves science and computer programming and has aspirations of becoming an astrophysicist and studying black holes and supernovas. His parents, both of whom have advanced degrees, understand that raising a son with extraordinary intellectual gifts can be a challenge.

David credits several of his favorite teachers for his academic success. His teachers say he has taught them a few things too in the few years it took him to get through high school. After completing a semester at Bucks County Community College, David’s family is now looking at colleges and universities across the country to find the right fit.

But David isn’t all work and no play. He enjoys playing sports and the piano, and is working on his black belt in martial arts. He also loves learning and is an inspiration to everyone who knows him.

David Balogun is an incredible example of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication. His story is a reminder that age is just a number, and that no dream is too big.
