Have you ever heard of a 9-year-old who holds a high school diploma? David Balogun is that 9-year-old! David recently graduated from the Reach Cyber Charter School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and is already looking to further his education. This young prodigy is an inspiration to us all and is proving that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.
David took classes remotely from his home in Bucks County and credits his favorite teachers for his academic success. His parents have advanced degrees, but they said raising a young son with extraordinary intellectual gifts can be a bit challenging. David’s mother, Ronya Balogun, said “He’s a 9-year-old with a brain that does have the capacity to understand and comprehend a lot of concepts that are beyond his years. And sometimes beyond my understanding.”
David’s favorite thing is learning, but he also likes to play sports, the piano, and is working on his black belt in martial arts! After completing a semester at Bucks County Community College, David’s family is currently looking at colleges and universities across the country to try to find one that’s just the right fit.
David Balogun is an extraordinary example of what is possible when you put your mind to something. He is a shining example of how hard work and dedication can take you far and that there is no limit to what you can achieve.
