At just nine years old, David Balogun is already a high school graduate. A student of Reach Cyber Charter School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, David took classes remotely from his home in Bucks County and is now looking for the perfect college to continue his studies. His parents, both of whom have advanced degrees, have had to adjust to raising a son with extraordinary intellectual gifts.

David credits his success to the teachers who have helped him along the way. His teacher, Cody Derr, said, “David was an inspirational kid, definitely one who changes the way you think about teaching.” After completing a semester at Bucks County Community College, David and his family are now looking at colleges and universities across the country to find the right fit.

When he’s not studying, David likes to play sports and the piano, and he is also working on his black belt in martial arts. His passion for learning is evident, and he has already achieved an incredible feat at such a young age. With the help of his supportive family and teachers, David is sure to continue to reach new heights in his academic and personal life.
