The Golden State Warriors have had an underwhelming first half of the 2022-23 season, but Steve Kerr still believes they are capable of repeating as NBA champions. It may seem hard to believe, but Kerr is confident that the Warriors have the talent and playoff experience to defend their title.

In an interview with 95.7 The Game’s “Damon & Ratto” on Friday, Kerr expressed his belief that the Warriors can still make a run at the championship. He said, “I still believe that we can do this. And I tell the players that almost every day and it’s authentic. We do have things we gotta improve on and we’re down to 30 games left in the season, so we need to take those steps now. But I still feel like we can do it. I think our team is not afraid of anybody. I think given our experience and our history in the playoffs, our guys have a ton of confidence.”

The Warriors have had a rocky start to the season, but Kerr is still confident that they can turn things around. He believes that the team needs to settle on some rotations and figure out the best way to put the puzzle together. He also believes that the team needs to do a better job closing out games.

Kerr is 100% confident that the Warriors can defend their championship. He said, “I still believe that it can be done. We gotta do a better job, especially closing games. Overall, just in general, the coaching staff too. We’ve gotta settle on some rotations and figure out exactly how we’re going to put this puzzle together the best way that we can because it’s still not clear. While that is concerning, I still believe that it can be done.”

The Warriors are currently 26-26 and are in the middle of a tight Western Conference. Despite their underwhelming start to the season, Kerr is confident that the Warriors can make the necessary adjustments to make a run at the championship. He believes that the team has enough talent and playoff experience to make a run at defending their title.

So, stay tuned to see if the Warriors can make their run at the championship. Will they be able to make the necessary adjustments to make a run at the title? Only time will tell.
