The former “Games of Thrones” star revealed the news during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon. When asked how his son was doing, Harington shared that his son was two and that they thought he might be quite smart. He also shared that his son loves applause and that they are worried it might be pushing him towards acting.
Harington also spoke about how he was feeling about expecting his second child, saying that he was terrified and that with the first baby, he was walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months. He also shared that his son had not yet conceptually understood that he was about to get a brother or sister.
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie first met on the set of “Games of Thrones” while filming the second season of the HBO hit show. Harington famously portrayed the character Jon Snow while Leslie portrayed the character Ygritte, who had an on-screen romance with Harington’s character. The couple tied the knot on June 23, 2018 during a star-studded ceremony in Scotland and welcomed their first child, a son, in February 2021.
Harington opened up about being a modern father during a Sept. 2022 interview with People, saying “We are now becoming more involved in child raising and as a modern father, there is a real feeling of being a bystander at times. You are not actively involved in the process of growing the child and there can be a real feeling of not knowing what is going on, what emotions are happening, what the mother or your partner is going through.”
