The countdown to Super Bowl LVII is on and the Philadelphia Eagles are ready to take flight. On Saturday, February 4th, hundreds of passionate Eagles fans gathered at the Oxford Valley Mall to wish the team good luck before they jet off to Arizona. This send-off rally was a chance for die-hard fans to meet some of their favorite players and show their support.

Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, running back Boston Scott, running back Kenny Gainwell, and wide receiver Quez Watkins were all in attendance, signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.

Jim Slattery from Levittown was the first in line, waiting three hours to meet the players. James Williams, president of Dynasty Sports and Framing, the company that organized the rally, said “Not a lot of people can afford Super Bowl tickets, but you can come to Oxford Valley Mall in Langhorne and you can meet four of the players that are going to be out in Arizona.”

Will Roller from Bensalem was the biggest Eagles fan in attendance. He paid $5,000 to get his back tattooed with the names of all the Eagles players who won the 2018 Super Bowl. He plans to get his front tattooed up after the Eagles win the Super Bowl against the Chiefs.

Eagles fans have full confidence that the team will bring home a win. We can only hope that the rally will give the team the extra boost of energy they need to get to the top.
