Adam Sandler and the Safdie Brothers are teaming up again for a brand new feature film, and if the 340 page first draft of the script is any indication, it’s going to be an incredible piece of work. The Safdie Brothers have been working on the script for a couple of years and Sandler has been in awe of their work ethic, which he describes as “bananas.”

The trio previously collaborated on the 2020 short film, and now they are set to work on an upcoming feature for Netflix. Sandler has praised the brothers for their creativity and dedication to their work, noting that they are always thinking and writing. Sandler also said that the Safdies are so focused on their current project that they don’t want to talk about the future.

The upcoming feature is part of Sandler’s overall production deal with Netflix, which was first inked in 2014 and extended twice since then. Netflix is the exclusive home for Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions banner, which was most recently behind Sandler’s critically acclaimed “Hustle” and the upcoming “Murder Mystery 2.”

It’s clear that the Safdie Brothers and Adam Sandler are a match made in heaven. With the Safdies’ creative vision and Sandler’s acting chops, we can expect something truly special from this collaboration. We can’t wait to see the finished product!
