We all have dreams and aspirations, but few of us have the drive and determination to achieve them at such a young age. 9-year-old David Balogun is one of those few. Recently graduating from Reach Cyber Charter School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, David is an inspiration to us all.
David took classes remotely from his home in Bucks County and credits several of his favorite teachers for his academic success. His parents, both of whom have advanced degrees, find it a bit of a challenge to raise a son with extraordinary intellectual gifts. But they are certainly doing something right, as David is now looking at colleges and universities across the country to find the right fit.
When he’s not learning, David enjoys playing sports and the piano, and is currently working on his black belt in martial arts. His dream is to become an astrophysicist and study black holes and supernovas. With the dedication and commitment he has already shown, it’s likely that he will achieve this, and more.
David Balogun is a shining example of what can be achieved with hard work and determination. He is an inspiration to us all, and his story is an important reminder that anything is possible if we just believe in ourselves.
