Today was a special day for Anderson County’s Gavin Noe as he signed his letter of intent to join the Navy. Surrounded by family, friends, coaches, teammates, and other members of the community, Noe was celebrated for his accomplishments and his impact on the area.
The three-star recruit is a star running back and linebacker for the Mavericks and was named MVP of the 4A state championship game. Before signing his letter of intent, Noe was honored by his community with stories of his growth and development over the years.
Noe expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support and acknowledged the impact he had on his community. “I can’t quite put into words,” he said. “You don’t know until they tell you and it was a wave of emotions coming in as they’re telling me all that stuff. To know I impacted this place is a blessing.”
At Navy, Noe looks forward to continuing his growth and to serving his country in the best way possible. He is an inspiration to everyone around him and is a reminder of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication. Congratulations to Gavin Noe on his letter of intent!
