On Friday, family and friends of 18-year-old Cartier Woods gathered in Detroit to pray for his recovery. Cartier, a student of Detroit Public Schools Community District, suddenly went into cardiac arrest during a basketball game at Northwestern High School on Tuesday night. Since then, he has been in critical condition and has not shown any improvement.

At the vigil, Cartier’s aunt, Dwanda Woods, spoke of his condition and the family’s hope for a recovery. Friends of Cartier shared their love and support, saying “We here for you Cartie. We got you. We love you.”

In order to help with Cartier’s medical expenses, a GoFundMe page has been set up. Any donations are greatly appreciated and will go towards helping Cartier and his family during this difficult time.

The story of Cartier Woods has touched the hearts of many, and we hope and pray for his recovery. Let us come together to show our support and love for Cartier and his family.
