Welcome to the newest addition to the StormTeam 5 family! Today, we are thrilled to introduce you to the newest member of our Channel 5 family – Mike Wankum’s first granddaughter. On February 2nd, Mike’s daughter Anna and her husband Dustin welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. Weighing in at 6 pounds 8 ounces and 18 inches long, this little bundle of joy is sure to bring lots of love and happiness to the family.
What makes this birth even more special is that it took place on Groundhog Day. We can only imagine how Mike must feel to have a granddaughter born on the same day as his beloved groundhog, Quincy. It’s a day that will be forever remembered and celebrated by the Wankum family.
Mike has been a part of the Channel 5 family for over 20 years and his enthusiasm for his job and the weather is contagious. We can only imagine the joy he must be feeling now that he is a grandfather. We know he will be the best grandpa ever and we can’t wait to watch him spoil his granddaughter with love.
