It’s a dream come true for Heather Rae El Moussa (née Young) and Tarek El Moussa, who have just welcomed their first child together! The couple, who met in 2019 and married in 2021, are overjoyed to have expanded their family and are now a family of five.
The couple announced the birth of their son on February 2, 2021 via Instagram and Tarek shared an exclusive statement to Us Weekly saying, “Becoming a father for the third time is just as exciting as it was the first time. Our baby boy is doing amazing and Heather was a rockstar during labor.” He went on to say that their two children, Taylor and Brayden, were thrilled to meet their little brother and that the milestone was “truly a special moment” for the couple.
Heather and Tarek began their journey to parenthood in July 2022 when Heather announced her pregnancy via Instagram. She shared a photo of the couple and captioned it, “Surprise!!! Baby El Moussa coming early 2023!!” The real estate investor and Selling Sunset star then tied the knot in October 2021, with Heather saying that she was honored to be their “bonus mommy”.
The couple then began the process of IVF treatments in January 2022 and Heather documented her often difficult journey to retrieve eggs and freeze her embryos via Instagram. She shared her struggles with her followers, but also expressed her gratitude for her husband, saying he was her “rock” throughout the process.
Now, Heather and Tarek have finally welcomed their bundle of joy and are “on cloud 9” soaking in all the snuggles and bonding with their little one. Congratulations to the growing family!
